Jill Davis LeBlanc
"MP4ever"

Part of me wants to describe Jill Davis LeBlanc as a rare artist; the proverbial diamond in the rough. Her illustrations contain such vivacity that the more you examine her work, the more characteristics seem to emerge. Whether she's capturing a moment in time of an individual, depicting the likeness of an animal, or just creating a random series of patterns - there's something which springs forth and tells a story in of itself. Her style is unmistakenly her own. And while some artists would take a moment on a job well done, Jill is always striving to improve; to make the next illustration better than the last.
It might sound like I'm bestowing her with praise, but it only took me less than two minutes to write that paragraph. I didn't need to think about what to say; I just typed what immediately came to mind. This is how you know an artist is the real deal: when it takes no effort to describe why they are talented.
But I said, part of me wants to describe Jill the artist. The other half wants to gush about how awesome she is. Whether it's her love for the classic "Dark Shadows" series, our mutual agreement the one true Hawkeye wears a purple outfit, or our admiration for highly under-appreciated actor Ian Buchanan, Jill is a lady not only with incredible talent but with very good taste as well. She even married one of the nicest guys I know; who isn't a bad artist himself. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention she had the honor of meeting Ernest Borgnine. She actually got to hug and have her photo taken with the man! It's a great feeling when someone confirms first-hand every wonderful thing you heard about a legend is true.
So forgive me if I don't know how to describe Jill Davis LeBlanc. I want to be a professional and focus on her talent, and yet, I also want to rant like a mad fanboy on what an amazing person she is.- Jake
