Roxi McDermott
"Skater's Mishap"
Roxi McDermott was born in the wrong country.
I swear, it's true. I've never met a more die-hard fan of Japanese culture (especially anime or manga) than her. If it comes from the land of the Rising Sun, chances are Roxi not only knows about it, but she's probably watched or read it several times. Just spend an hour with her and you'll walk out with more knowledge about "Kaleidostar" or "Inuyasha" than you did before. And heaven help you if you get any of the facts wrong. *s*
Not surprisingly, she's also been a devoted student of Korean martial arts; attending classes several times a week and striving to climb up the ranking of the next belt class honor. Don't laugh, she's able to break boards. When she's on break from work, it's not uncommon to see her snacking on some Japanese candies. And as you can see, she also loves illustrating in an all-too-familiar anime style reminiscent of "Dragonball Z" and "Sailor Moon". So I say again, Roxi McDermott was born in the wrong country. - Jake
